Two New Dance Classes This Fri 18 Sept Book Medal Test Prep and Waltz Masterclass with Sergei
A quick reminder for this Friday 18 September: two new dance classes are now available to book online, and both are well worth a place in the diary.
Whether you are preparing for a Medal Test or looking to sharpen your Ballroom Waltz with fresh coaching, this Friday brings two focused sessions designed to help dancers make real progress on the floor.
The two new dance classes are:
Medal Test preparation class - 7pm to 8.30pm
Ballroom Waltz masterclass - 8.45pm to 10.15pm
Get ready for your Medal Test with a focused preparation class
For anyone working towards a Medal Test, extra preparation can make a big difference. A test is not only about remembering the steps. It is also about timing, posture, confidence, presentation, and showing that each dance has a clear shape and character.
The Medal Test preparation class at 7pm to 8.30pm this Friday is a chance to work with purpose before test day. It can help dancers tidy up the details that are easy to miss in ordinary practice, such as:
Cleaner starts and finishes
More secure timing
Stronger posture and foot placement
Better transitions between figures
Confidence dancing under observation
This is especially useful if you already know your routine but want it to feel more settled. A small correction to timing, frame, or balance can change how the whole dance feels.
If you are unsure whether this class is right for you, think about what you need most before the test. If the answer is more practice, clearer feedback, or a calm run-through in a class setting, this Friday’s session is a good fit.
To book, go to the Booking Services page and choose the Medal Test preparation class. Please book online rather than waiting until the day, as places are limited to 12 people.

Join Sergei for a Waltz masterclass
We are also delighted to welcome Sergei, our new teacher, for a Ballroom Waltz masterclass this Friday.
The Waltz is one of the most beautiful Ballroom dances, but it rewards care. The rise and fall, swing, sway, timing, and flow all need to work together. When those details begin to connect, the dance changes from a sequence of steps into something smooth and musical.
This masterclass is a chance to focus on the Waltz with guidance from a new voice in the studio. A different teacher can often spot habits that have become invisible and offer a new way to understand familiar movements.
The class may be especially helpful if you want to improve:
Waltz timing and musicality
Body position and frame
Smooth movement across the floor
Rise and fall
Partner connection
Confidence in Ballroom technique
You do not need to be perfect before joining a masterclass. The point is to learn. Come ready to listen, try corrections, and enjoy the process.
To reserve your place, visit the Booking Services page and select the Ballroom Waltz masterclass with Sergei. Class limited to 12 people.
Please book online before Friday
Online booking helps keep everything simple. It also lets you check the latest availability and make sure you are booked onto the right class.
If you plan to attend both, please make a separate booking for each class so your place is recorded correctly.
We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor this Friday.
